The terms that apply when you use this website or buy a digital product from it.

1. Agreement

By using https://hotelfinancetools.com ("the website") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website. The website is operated by Hotel Finance Tools ("we", "us").

2. What we sell

We sell digital templates, spreadsheets, checklists and written guides for hotel finance work. All products are delivered electronically. Nothing is shipped.

3. Nature of the products

The products are administrative and educational templates. They are not accounting, tax, audit, legal or investment advice, and they do not create a professional relationship of any kind between you and us. You remain responsible for your own figures, your own judgment, and compliance with your employer's or client's procedures. See the disclaimer for the full position.

4. Purchases and payment

Payment is taken by our checkout provider, Payhip, on their systems and under their terms. We do not receive or store your card details. Prices are shown in USD. Any applicable sales tax or VAT is calculated by the checkout provider at payment.

We try to keep prices and product descriptions accurate. If an obvious error appears, we may correct it and, where a purchase is affected, cancel the order and refund it in full.

5. Delivery

Download links are sent by email by the checkout provider, usually within a few minutes of payment. If your files do not arrive, contact support@hotelfinancetools.com and a replacement link will be issued.

6. License

Buying a product grants you a license to use it. It does not transfer ownership of the files. The terms of that license, including team use, multi-property use and what is not permitted, are set out in the digital product license, which forms part of these terms.

7. Refunds

Our refund position is set out in the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

8. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or its files;
  • use automated tools to scrape, overload or disrupt the website;
  • submit false information, malicious code or unlawful content through any form;
  • copy the website's text, layout or code for use elsewhere without permission.

9. Intellectual property

The website, its written content, its design and the products are owned by Hotel Finance Tools or its licensors and are protected by copyright. Buying a product does not give you the right to resell, redistribute or republish it.

10. Links to other websites

The website links to third-party services, including our checkout and email providers. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave here.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the website available, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We do not promise uninterrupted access.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the website or any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from decisions made using a template. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These terms may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase or visit.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hotel Finance Tools is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in this section removes the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies in your own country of residence, or your right to bring proceedings there where that law allows it.
