Are these physical products?
No. Every item is a digital file that you download. Nothing is posted to you and there are no shipping costs.
How are the files delivered?
Payment and delivery are handled by Payhip. After checkout you receive an email with your download links, usually within a few minutes.
Which software do I need?
Most products need Microsoft Excel on a desktop computer. Some include Word documents, and the instructions and examples are PDFs. Each product page lists exactly what it contains.
Can I modify the templates?
Yes. They are meant to be edited. Change the department names, add or remove lines, adjust the formatting, and adapt the wording to your property. Check any formula you change before relying on it.
Can I share the templates with my team?
Yes, within the property covered by your license. Colleagues at that hotel can use and edit the files as part of their work. Sharing outside your organization is not permitted.
Can I use the files at multiple hotels?
The standard license covers one property. If you operate several properties, or you are a management company, contact us about a multi-property or management-company license.
Are these products USALI compliant?
No compliance claim is made. The templates follow a departmental structure that most hotel operators will recognize, but they are not certified against, endorsed by, or affiliated with any published reporting standard or standard-setting body. Compare them against your own company's requirements before use.
Do these tools replace accounting advice?
No. They are administrative and educational tools. They are not accounting, audit, tax, legal or investment advice, and they do not replace your own professional judgment or your company's procedures.
Can I receive a refund?
If a file will not download, arrives damaged, or is materially different from its description, contact support and we will replace it or refund it. The full terms are on the refund policy page.
What happens if I have trouble downloading a file?
Email support@hotelfinancetools.com with the email address you used at checkout. A replacement link will be sent.
Will the templates work with Google Sheets?
They are built and tested for desktop Excel. Google Sheets will open an .xlsx file, but complex formulas, formatting and print layouts can behave differently after conversion. If Google Sheets is your main tool, expect to spend time adjusting the file, and check every calculation before you rely on it.
Are future updates included?
Minor corrections and improvements to a product you already own are provided free through your original download link. A substantially new edition may be sold separately, and if so, existing owners are told before it is released.
Can management companies purchase multi-property licenses?
Yes. Contact us with the number of properties involved and we will confirm the terms and price.
Can I remove Hotel Finance Tools branding?
Yes, on files used inside your own organization. You may replace the branding with your own for internal reporting. You may not remove the branding in order to distribute, publish or sell the files.
Is customer support included?
Email support for download problems, file questions and licensing. Support does not include accounting advice or building custom templates. Building bespoke templates or reviewing your figures is not part of support.
Are formulas guaranteed to work with my systems?
No guarantee is made. Every hotel uses a different chart of accounts, accounting system and reporting cycle. The buyer is responsible for reviewing the formulas, assumptions and outputs before using them operationally.
Can the products be resold?
No. Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing or giving away the files, in original or modified form, is not permitted.
Can I upload the templates to another marketplace?
No. Uploading the files to a template marketplace, a file-sharing site, a public repository or any other place where others could obtain them is not permitted.

Two things worth knowing before you buy
These templates are a structure, not a system. They do not connect to your property management or accounting software, and they make no compliance claim against any published reporting standard. They give you a well-organized starting point that you adapt to your property, your chart of accounts and your company's procedures.
You are responsible for checking the numbers. Every formula, assumption and classification should be reviewed before the file is used for real reporting. That is true of any template, and saying so plainly is more useful than promising accuracy nobody can guarantee.
